David Redman

David Redman has developed, co-financed and produced a number of critically and commercially successful feature films including Charlie & Boots, Salute and Till Human Voices Wake Us with Paramount, as well as Spin Out with Sony and the highest grossing Australian film of 2004, Strange Bedfellows, which was distributed in the US through Universal. David has also produced films including The Subjects and Little Johnny the Movie that explored innovative distribution methods as well as producing Take Away with Roadshow, You and Your Stupid Mate with Hoyts (now owned by Wanda) and Muggers with Becker.He has also been a producer on a range of international award winning co-productions that have been made in the UK, Eastern and Western Europe, North America and Asia.These include The Young Poisoner’s Handbook and the Oscar nominated, Before the Rain. He is the longest serving member of the Screen Producers Australia council and mentors emerging producers through their ones to watch program.

Tony Coombs

Tony Coombs is an experienced media executive who comes into film from television. As an Executive Project Manager and producer overseeing production and sales he developed shows which included his own intellectual property at companies such as Brand New Media with these programs airing on free to air and pay TV in Australia. He also undertook numerous consultancy roles such as Destra Media owned companies Magnum Pacific (distribution), Central Station Records (Music) plus Fashion TV (TV / Fashion) as well as managing Soniq smart TV platform in Australia and China where he worked with Guangzhou TV, the Guangdong Tier 1 city based TV network with its many free to air channels and satellite channels. He is also a partner in USA Burma Road Productions, which has produced media for international markets including in China and he packaged and will Executive Produce Shimalaya (an official Australia / China co-production). He has co-written and will be the producer of Girl Of Ashima, recently announced at Beijing Film Festival and also intended as Australian / China co-production.
